HUD annual assessment score-86
Huntington HA audited FINANCIAL SUBMISSION FOR THE annual operations score received from HUD indicates that the HA SHOULD HAS emerged from substandard financial status.
The Town of Huntington Housing Authority audited financial information has been approved by the US Department of Housing & Urban Development for the year ending 9/30/05. The audited score indicates that the HA has surpassed the minimum required financial score in order to be considered a standard performer. The audit work completed in late January did not reveal any apparent irregularities or findings.
The HA Board of Commissioners and Management have worked toward recovering from previously troubled status related to prior administrations for more than three years. The efforts required tough fiscal management, adherence to policies, cooperation with HUD and proactive oversight by the Board.
The next Huntington Housing Authority Board meeting has been scheduled for 2006 at 7 a.m. in the Huntington HA Conference Room.
Please note that effective July 1, 2005 the HHA is the managing agent of the Millennium Hills Development.
